idle drop after tune

had autronic smc installed yesterday just wondering if this is normal.
when revs dropping down or deaccelerating with clutch in, it goes below idle rpm then quickly rise up to idle revs which is about 900rpm. it doesn't sound right because its getting close to stalling but quickly comes up to idle.

could it need more tuning?

also there's a new tick, tick, tick sound coming from around throttle body only at idle, goes away if reved a little.

does temp sensor make that noise?

clean the idle control valve.

yea i'll do that, it's just strange that it happens straight from picking car up. and no problem before.

Should have questioned it there and then?

tick, tick, tick noise is more of a sparking sound and pretty sure its from coil pack or leads going into coil.

This happens to my car too...haven't got around to fixing it though.

You sure its not the sound of your injectors?

found where tick, tick, tick sound is coming from. If you follow air hose coming from top of throttle body down past coil it comes to a valve which is powered by 12volts, then there's another hose coming off that.

does anyone know what this valve does?
perhaps autronic is switching it on/off ?

ok, i think its a purge control valve
