vf34 turbo
has any of you guys had any experience with vf43 turbos, pro's, cons's?, also
what type of power mods can i do without putting to much strain on my stock engine. |
Search!!!!!!
They are a very popular turbo. I have a silicone intake, VF34, hyperflow top mount, 3" inch TBE, Haltech E8, walbro fuel pump. Running 16 psi and getting 218hp at all 4 wheels. |
Depends on your model/engine (2.0L or 2.5L, they both respond differently).
2.0L + VF34 = great street car. 2.5L + VF34/P20 housing = great street car (midrange will be nuttssssss). You will need exhaust + bigger tmic + fuel pump + injectors (to be on the safe side) + tune. Power can range from anywhere between 170-200kw atw, plenty for street duty and even light trackwork (if you wanna get into that kind of stuff). Trying to help you out before the inevitable flaming from others dude. **edit** too late. |
Which turbo do you mean? VF43 or VF34? Make up your mind dude.
VF34 - HEAPS of people have been there, done that. Check this thread - http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/showthread.php?t=37762&highlight=performance - read the tables in the 3rd post. Or, DO A SEARCH. VF43 - DO A SEARCH. Better yet.....DO A GOD DAMN SEARCH. |
