Default My Engine Build - Under Way

All,

Similar thread to Rossco's engine build that he is doing, unlike Rossco my short motor is being built by MSR (Michael South Racing).

I am doing a 2.1 stroker using a closed deck early WRX block with the following goodies :

. Arias Pistons
. Argo Rods
. 2.5 Sti crank with MSR mod for better oiling
. ACL Race bearings
. MSR modified oil rings

The heads will also be done with :

. Brian Crower cams (copied Rossco)
. Spring and titanium retainer set
. Heads will be cleaned up also.

Will post pic's as it progresses.

cheers

I have gone for this set of springs/retainers.

Michael strongly suggested that I do not use the titanium retainers though!

Yep, Michael told me of examples with titanium retainers actually pulling through (whatever that means)..
