search.

there are a lot of varied opinions about heat wrapping v ceramic coating v nothing at all. There is a thread floating around here somewhere that shoud be of assistance to you. Through out the whole debate the best argument i have heard thus far is...

Ceramic coating is banned in Formula 1, that tells me it's beneficial.

Although it's $300 for CC v $50ish for heat wrap.

i dont have any coating/wrap at all on my headers

havnt melted anything or had any issues at all

plus ceramic coating is so expensive and i couldnt justify the $300ish for hardly any benefit

i read also from searching the forum that water on the heat wrapped header is no good as it will crack. You can spray some stuff on to prevent this from happening though.

i may be wrong so someone might want to clarify this.

depending on your budget get ceramic coating, makes a huge difference. if the funds are not there heat wrap it then spray it with high temp silicon spray
