So, it lives!

Passed scrutineering last night, so we're good to go for the Safari rally on Saturday.

It feels much faster than it did at the start of the year - Autronic has been fitted, AFM deleted, dump valve deleted, antilag enabled, and new air filter and inlet pipe.

All Star did the tune - very conservative on request. Now is there anything I need to know about antilag? I've only flicked the switch once or twice on the road, so it's hard to get a feel for what it does and what to watch out for.

Can't wait, even though I'm in the wrong seat for this event.

If anyone gets any photos or video of us on the weekend, please let me know...

Default Point and shoot...

Curly...

Just point and shoot with the anti lag my son.. brake and line the corner up then stand on it. You'll need the go cause it's gunna be slipppeerryyy!

Anti lag will give you better throttle / boost response which should equal more grip 'n' go..

Will chew the fuel a bit more as well.. pfftt whos gunna worry about zat!

Not as slippery as it's going to be for you - 'Mr 1st on the road'.

Are you still running the brake booster? It can play around with the brake pedal feel a bit if you are still running it. I have never had an issue with it but I was not running an aggressive A/L setup.

Yeah, still running the brake booster - oh, so it struggles to replenish the vacuum, that makes sense. I don't think Wavey's a big left foot braker, but I'll remind him.

Cheers.

Did the Forest Rally this weekend, and what a difference to last year... No mechanical dramas at all, the thing pulled like a train all weekend.

3rd WARC... Not bad for a car that owes us about $12k all up!
