key

Okay i just rang a Subaru dealer and they wanted $500 for a 2nd key, Im not sure if it has been said before i did search but nothing came up.
There is Subaru keys on ebay for around $49 would it be worth getting one and getting it coded or is that the $$$ part

Thanks

The expensive bit is the key, they are about $400.
depending on the year of your car and model.
what car have you got?

if you can get a genuine key cheap, and get it cut yourself.
coding from Subaru should only be about $70

It doesn't say it explicitly but make sure they have the immobiliser bit in them. Look at where the stock key meets the rubber grip & there should be a tiny square.
