Well fellas just got rexxxi out for a drive, finaly got BPM dump, the list of mods are FP green 3in turbo, induction to suit, 850cc injectors, perrin fmc, and 3in TBE, on the drive the thing hit 20psi before i could blink ( i think i pooped a little too), now all this happend with the HKS ecv set at 14psi ,is the Greens internal gate not up to the job, i realy don't want to blow up the donk.

Possibly the boost controller, actuator or wastegate i would say.

Dude get a tune or you will end up where my RedWagon Did!
Not in good health..

+11tybillion for ecu and tune.

You expect the stock wrx ecu to be able to handle turbos, injector changes etc? It ain't a bloody ECU out of a Terminator.

RXqME 05-02-2011 03:53 PM

Surely a workshop would have tuned it before letting him drive it out of the workshop with those mods wouldn't they?

Shaun 05-02-2011 06:30 PM

All the work is done by me and its tuned by ASG with the stock dump pipe, made 259.3 on 15psi and very laggy, Any how the excitement of finaly driving the car with the dump pipe fitted, blinded me from the obvious, the fault appeared to be the boost offset adjusted way too high on the EBC, it now holds 17psi and no more pinging, time for a re-dyno
