Crunching when changing from 3rd to 4th...help please????

As the title states, I have recently noticed that my gearbox "crunches" to put it frankly when I adopt a more fun style of driving...changing UP from 3rd to 4th, strangely enough, it doesn't crunch on the downshift :/

Any ideas of what it may be (hard to describe) and without being there it is not easy to explain I understand, just wondering if there is something common gthat may be wrong?

Advice is much appreciated :)

Cheers

Brett

I had similar issue .. put a new clutch in and some smurf blood and it feels really good again.

Cheers for the advice :) roughly how much for smurf blood?

Cool thanks :) ill get to repco and see if they have some in stock :)

Is it on the original clutch? I managed to get about 150k out of my stock clutch before replacement. Had hardly anything left on it when pulled out, maybe 1 or 2mm, surprised it wasn't slipping.

If you are, i'd recommend thinking about a clutch pretty soon too.

Im pretty sure its still on the original, the car is on 110,000 and the clutch seems to be fine, no slipping etc...but i am thinking it is soon on the way out :/ did you install your new clutch yourself?> :)
