Boost cut
After installing my new manual boost controller I have realised that I can run approx 16-17psi without the boost cut coming in. I was wanting to run about 18psi (or at least when I go to the drags) but don't know how to over ride the factory boost cut.
Please help....... SC :la: :la: TER P.S. I have a factory ECU. Don't know if this makes a difference? |

Isn't there a DIY way of doing it as the funds are a little low???? :(

If you go past the 18psi, there's a chance you will be paying for a new engine
Boost cut is there for a reason Even if you think you kept boost to 18psi, there's boost spike to worry, where it can jump by 2-3psi and if you do that often enough, there's a good chance you'll be starting a new thread, "Need a new cheap engine" |
get an ecu. problem solved.
|
Yes. This cost me exactly $5.
Go to an aquarium shop and get a t peice and a one way valve. T this in between the line that runs between the two boost controllers on the strut tower (can't remember exact names but will get you a pic). |
