Changing Brake fluid

What is the best technique for removing brake fluid and repalcing with Racing Brake fluid.

Flushing out would mean mixing old and new fluid, so how is it done properly?

Any advice?

I do it this way
Use a vacuum pump to remove old oil
Pour new oil into the reservoir
Get a mate to either pump pedal or open and close bleed valve
Make sure to continually check on your oil level when bleed so you don't empty the reservoir and suck air into the system
Make sure no bubbles are in the system
I normally do it with a litre of fluid so you won't have any old fluid left in the system

As long as you're not swapping from a glycol based fluid to a silicone based fluid of course...

Take to workshop.

Drink coffee.

Pay bill.

Drive away.

God damn us cheque book racers!

can someone please tell me
a) what the 2nd reservoir to the right is (the smaller one) and
b) if you're able to tell if the brake fluid needs replacing?

To the right is the Clutch Master Cylinder. Appears to be fine to me. How long has it been since it was last flushed?..

Ah cool cheers.
Yeah really don't know how long it's been since the brake fluid was flushed. Car had 4 separate owners in the space of a year before I bought it so it's anyone's guess!

If in doubt flush and replace.

I'm going to attempt this this weekend. Can someone confirm the order that it should be done though? The videos I've seen say front right, rear left, front left, rear right. Is that the same for aus models?
