Just drive the car for a few days and it should start asking for a code again. Mine does that when ever i disconnect the battery. it will stay in valet mode untill it randomly decides to go out of it.

They are a good system, when they are working properly. It is important to keep the vehicle battery in good condition.
If you've got another system installed, its hard to say whats been removed, could get expensive to replace all the parts.
I've got a bugeye but it didn't have the Brant system installed or retro-fitted.
We've got a complete Brant system at work, as they were sold as accesories, and I wanted to fit it to my car, price is $800, and that is staff pricing.

Also, I'm pretty sure only a dealership can fit them.

AFter the battery had a jump and ran for a while, the brant has again started asking for the original pin so that is all good. Only diff now is that the turbo timer does not work at all, not that I am complaining as I hate the bastard.

You don't need a turbo timer anyway....

lol, not having much luck?

this is how you install one, try reversing it:

You may also find you have to un clip the wiring harness that is under the seat and links to the anti hi-jack feature of the brant system to make it work properly.

best of luck, I found that in this thread: http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/general-...rbo-timer.html

Your brant was not broken. It just needed 8starts I believe.
I agree, Brant's can be dodgy, but if it is working fine, I don't see a point in spending $600 on a new system. Once it breaks, then replace it
