autronics problem

the other day i was driving and looked out the back and there was fuel pouring out the exh. i got it home. and took the spark plugs out and found heaps of fuel in the cylinders. there are no codes but i noticed that the inj time was at 10 ms which is way to much . has anyone had this happen to them ???
has anyone had to change this setting ???
steve is away at the rally so i cant quiz him on it and no one at the workshops seems to be able to help.

oh and im in geraldton so cant pop in to see anyone or drop the comp off

thanks for any help

I had a similar issue with a bad injector....
Wanted to stay wide open and dump fuel constantly
Would come good with some cleaner additives and revving .
Eventually swapped injectors - as sourced 850's and now running smooth.
Autronic - no errors reported.

Hey Sav, I had white smoke pouring out at one stage.. I'm not sure if it was fuel.

The problem was the autronics had some wire's touching & it was in limp mode.

its not a injector as i removed them and checked them at work and leak tested them no fault.

hey chris how did you fix your problem ??? disconnect battery or is there a reset on the autronics program ??

i have the program and a cable

Bump and old thread just so i dont have to open my own.

I've got a DEFI boost guage and DEFI control unit. Does anyone know whilst using autronics ecu i can't set the 'warning set' on my control unit? Every time i bump it up to 1.6bar (for over boosting) then turn car off, the 'warning set' resets?

Any ideas?

10ms is heaps, but relative to the size of the injector...

I would say your constant power is hooked up to a switched source, so the memory gets wiped every time you turn the car off. It should have nothing to do with the autronic.
