blew out the seals on your turbo? Pull the dump pipe off and check the inside of the turbine housing.

are you suggesting getting catchcan?
Wouldn't hurt and considering the majority of the tuned cars on here have one or an Air Oil Separator and don't have any issues like you have described it could be a solution.

Get one, if problem persists move onto the turbo.

okay sounds like a plan. if seals in turbo have gone will driving the car create more serious problems?

3 times in 4 months, don't even worry about it. One drop of oil will make a shitload of smoke, unless it's burning a decent amount or starts happening more frequently I suspect you'll never find the cause.

It is likely to be oil in your intercooler from "normal" blow-by after time.
To eliminate/diagnose the problem, the first step is to remove the intercooler and have a look for oil and flush it out if neccessary...I'm sure that STechnic would be happy to do this for you. If it turns out to be the problem you may consider fitting an oil catch can...the Hyperflow one is a good option.

I had this problem a couple of engines back on my wagon...intermittent white smoke....

The cause turned out to be just that... oil in the intercooler ...
