Well at this stage its unsolved, but we have rulled out it being spark related.

Will be doing a comp test tomorrow and if this comes up ok, the injectors.

Failing that im not sure.

Gurus do the std injectors fail on these things?

Oh and if is new engine time. Cams cams cams cams ;)

My stock yellows have done 270,000 km now & they're still going!

Injectors rarely fail.. i'd be looking at everything bolted to that engine before diagnosing the engine though.

Do your comp test and then go from there :)

A quick and easy way to tell if something is up with one of the cylinders.. does the engine crank over evenly i.e. it sounds the same throughout the cranking process, or does it "speed up" when it gets to one of the cylinders?
