umm, my afm played up and did that.. is your bonnet vent open above your afm so water could get into the plugs and electrics? If so, get a hairdryer on them for a while...

"check engine" light come on?

no engine light came on.
when i pluged the conectors to check codes i came up with code 12
which i think is the starter switch not sure yet still trying to sus it out

afm.. starter signal will come up if cranking too long
