02 sti projector headlights
 
Got some sti projectors, pree sure the hid bulbs are fucked, anyone know what type of bulb and where to get it from ? I'd imagine ill be paying bulk for them:confused:

What he said or try autopro innaloo got quoted around 340 for the bulbs only

340 for hid bulbs? You can probably buy 2 entire full kits with ballasts and wiring fo that.

where from for a full kit? Caz the balast is built into the headlight unit

also are they the ones for the genuine sti projectors?

no - you can go to subaru and pay $800 or $1000 for the genuines if you'd like.

I have had $150 eBay ones in 2 cars now, for 2 years each with not a problem.. those Phillips ones from EvolutionR will be fine

sorry about all the stupid questions, so most people that install them just run a completely seperate balast, that's not actually in the headlight itself? Caz I can't work out where to get in :/

How are you installing them? I.e. What wiring solution have you chosen? DIY or a pre-made conversion harness?
