I am wanting to integrate a video capture system which can record information pertaining to driving around the circuit..

Something similar to the MoTeC VCS Video Capture System. Does anyone know of anything that exists and which can be taped into the MoTeC to get all the info required??

I think the VCS system is over 3k to purchase plus need to get I2 in addition..

Tino, speak to Protothrob about what he is using currently. I forgot the brand but it seemed to produce inside better images than the gopro.

yeh thats interesting and has a 20htz GPS unit i think motec only do a 5-10htz now..

I will ask for a price.. But i know although i want to keep with the MoTeC family that the GPS unit ~1k the VCS ~3k and the i2 ~1k.. So a bit pricey and it only comes with the one camera..

I remember getting details for a unit that would run upto 4 camera's, gps datalogging and ecu/obdII inputs. It was a great system. Will need to look through archives and find them.

I am ordering one for the emo. The only reason it is not already here is that they will do one camera in HD but if you go to 3 then it is not hd. The same hardware etc so I have just been hanging out till I can get 3 cameras on HD.

The full monty kit with all the aerials / plugs etc is about US$2500 including three cameras.

It is the same as what the v8 supercar boys use.

It will overlap speed / brake modulation etc.

Not avaliable last time i checked with the MoTeC guru...

Most of these systems seem to be around 1-2k.

For me to buy two gopros ~ 700 so if i can get one with multiple cameras i.e 4 that can be used out side for around 2k then this really isnt a bad investment..
