The HKS pod isnt that loud and too be honest for what its worth, much better going apexi or K&N....

I have the standard airbox with a K&N panel filter but have a cold air induction pipe feeding into it and that gave me a noticable increase in induction noise if thats what you are after. Maybe not as loud as a pod filter but still sweet none the less.

they come pre oiled, but if you follow the instructions they dont mess with the AFM.

seriously the induction noise is wicked, and the stock bov sounds pretty mean. It makes a whiplash after full boost and just makes a small flutter when you just cruise.

i dont see what all the fuss with oiled filters is about, the oil keeps moisture out of the engine when following traffic in the rain.

heavily oiled filters screw the AFM on older models... that's what the fuss is about!
a messed up AFM is no fun.

just dont over oil it

K&N is by far the best value for $

if you dont want an oiled filter, go the apexi
but there's a trade off
