Default "Flickering" headlights

I'm gunna take this problem to an auto electrician, but wanted to know if anyone had also experienced something like this:

MY99 has in the past had the odd "flicking off" with the headlights when using the indicator and when after turning the indicator arm clicks back to neutral position. Just had HID's in which while not making the problem worse, have made it much more noticable. It annoys me, but probably really pisses off others on the road in front of me.

I also used to have this problem on a MY98, but never got around to getting it looked at - car got cleaned up before I got a chance to sort it.

Anyone know about this as a problem?

It is a known problem with the indicator stalk/headlight switching mechanism. Buy the whole replacement unit for around $100. I got mine from MMS.

I replaced mine about 6 months ago.

Smile Same problem with my 2001

Thanks for posting the info. Have the same problem with my 2001 bug eye, though only intermittently. Know what to do now.

Cheers

Phil

Had it with my MY99 too before HIDs where installed.

Take it to MMS or RMS as they will have fixed the problem on other cars before.
