does any one know if role centre adjuster are legal for the pits to pass you?

hey i have a wrx 02 lowered with king springs thats currently going to the pits at kelmscott soon and the car has role centre adjusters ithink installed, will this pass the pits?

Also my car measures at 100mm from the lowest point which is on the passenger side of the role centre adjuster, while the driver side measures at 90mm? what are the chancers of the pits inspectors checking that point and failing me as the legal limit is 100mm??

cheers for any help or suggestions:D

Can't comment on the roll centre kit, but very good chance that you will be pinged for ride height. If they want to get technical, the car is supposed to sit at minimum 100mm from lowest point when filled with passengers.

Should be ok with the height, cause the speed hump they have setup just before the pit, is 80mm, so if you hit that, then you have no chance.

far out thats shit so they would actually make people sit in the car? like passengers, cos thats going to make the car lower. But also dont know much about role centre adjusters, maybe thats making the car lower i guess with them on

Wrx_92 28-11-2011 10:19 PM

ohh so they have speed humps set up at the pits now, and do you know if that i was to make it over the speed hump would they actually get a ruler out and go underneath my car to measure?

cheers

Na thats too much work for them, they want to get you done and dusted as quick as possible. In all my time taking customer cars down, never ever seen them measure with a ruler, they just go off by the speed hump.

ok cheers man for the info (Y) and now i just have to worry about my turbo pipe as the car makes a slightly bov sound when i drive it, even tho i changed it to stock bov and stock air filter.

thanks

plug the small bov line up with a small rock/bearing before you goto the pits, remove afterwards.

no bov noises.

Never had the indian guy at midland then?
Measured my car with a tape measure even when there was no scrape, was legal height. So pinged me for no vent covers instead.
