Hella Supertone install help - 02 STi

Has anyone installed Supertones on a bug eye STi? Not sure if other models have a similar setup.

Finally had a look at what I was dealing with this morning and knew there were some hard lines (power steering/coolant overflow?) routed across the front of the radiator but was hoping I could still fit the new horns.. There's definitely not enough room to mount using the subimods bracket, has anyone faced this issue?

Are the lines for power steering or coolant?

I had the same issue with my peanut sti...I think it's aircon piping.

I managed to fit them in without using the bracket as there are a couple of holes off the front subframe u can use...(you are correct that the bracket doesn't seem to fit GD's)

I didn't actually like the look after all and they now reside under the bonnet of my 1988 Mazda 121...I think ppl are surprised when they cop a blast from a little buzz box haha!

Cheers yeah saw that there are a couple of other places I could mount them.
Don't really want 2 red horns sitting off to one side though, so might have to paint them.. or sell depending on laziness.

can you not mount them infront of the air con pipes? just put a spacer inbetween so you bring the bolt forward infront of the pipes

Nah there definitely isn't enough space in front/behind those hard lines. The grill sits fairly close to the lines. Didn't realise the horns would be so massive!

Do some searching on Nasioc. Surely someone has fitted them to a bug eye!

mount them next to each other on the lh side of the car.. The steering cooler is more important than horns.... Or am I missing something about the fascination of having bright red horns seen behind your grill? :S
