okay i really couldn't tell the difference between unequal and equal and as a mate told me bout it i think i picked up the equal length headers and am not looking forward to losing the rumble noise :( ill see if i can get my money back for this 1 cause i asked him if i do lose the rumble noise and he said no you get more of a grunt aswell. if they decide not to take it back what will be my other options and way of making the unequal 1s ? really dont want that rumble noise gone :(

hang on, I've got unequal length headers on my GC8 and i haven't lost the rumble, Sounds bit more barky and crisp, not as rumbly or droney. i pretty sure (correct me if I'm wrong) if you have equal length headers, you have to change the sump and pick up to a spec c sump and pick up.

the rumble is very subtle you can still hear it but yeah just be crisp sound
I like it better imo and twin scroll is even better :)

you might find that equal length headers lose the rumble sound, out there are some pretty cheap thin guaged metal headersm mine came out of japan, many years ago, still going strong, the pipes you can get indifferent sizes.

I thought u could get elh for a single scroll car and that means u wouldn't have to change sump ect like on twin scrolls?

Ive had xforce equals put on my gc8 along with a high flow 3 inch dump.... Slight rumble on tick over but totally different sound on throttle..... She pulls like a freight train on boost but i kinda miss the rumble and will definately be purchasing unequals when i get a chance!
