im going with a catback from ultrex and i got a quote from stechnic saying they'll install it for a fee of $330 at least... (3hrs minimum) ... is this the avg price for workshops around here? seems a bit pricey to just fit a catback exhaust...

yes, seems very steep for 1/2hrs work.

Very steep.

Try and find a mate who has some tools and some jack stands.
Carton or two of his favourite beer and you should be set :D

Hardest part would be getting the current exhaust off the hangers :p
