its a simple diy to change spark plugs, just dont rush it, do it when the engine is cold to save you dropping sockets into the undertray when you singe your hands :)

When I got my set of ILFR6B's recently,it was cheaper buying through city Subaru than the general auto stores, it was around $27.50 for the iridium and repco had it at $42 by far more than anyone else sells them. I went to auto pro in Bentley and they matched it with Subaru at $27. Cheaper online if you can wait.

wow, you guys are paying heaps for platinum plugs. I just go to Repco and get them for $18.50 a plug. DIY is the best option, don't see the point in paying someone to do a 20 min job.

Willeton repco sells @ 42 a plug, you must know someone then to get it that cheap.

Unless you get your spark plugs from ebay (around $40 for 4x PFR6B) and then want to do it yourself to save money, that deal from Evo R sounds very good. I love doing everything on my car myself, but I had a hard time getting those plugs out (all of my extensions were either too short or too long to fit between the engine and the chassis rails). It's screwing around and for what, $20? Thats just my opinion.

You need a 3/8th drive socket set, then it should be a 20 - 30 min job max

WHS ^^^, flexible spark plug socket from snap on, makes it a piece of cake to.
