Fuel Pump & Injectors
 

Was looking at upgrading these soon, currently running a VF28 on 15psi but looking at running 17-18psi when i get my new computer. What sort of fuel pump and injectors rating should i look at getting? A 400hp rated fuel pump should be enuff shouldnt it, sorta new to these parts n just want advice. Also what sort of injectors to match should i go with?

Also what is the stock 98 ones?, is it a 380cc?

Stocko MY98 comes with 380cc injectors

If you were to upgrade injectors and fuel pump, get as big as you can, so you dont have to worry about it later when you decide to up the power again.

I would go for the 400hp in tank pump and 440 or 550cc injectors.

It will be easier finding the 550cc aftermarket injectors than the 440 (assuming you are looking for the JDM V4 STi injectors)

440 with fuel pump with ECU is good for around the 180kw anyway with a safe IDC/AFR.

the 380cc injectors will be fine for that amount of boost

how about with the 01s do you need to change injectors if you go for a VF35? on 18psi?

and is the stock ic good enough?

Anything is possible, comes down to what you call/define as a safe tune

my03 onwards are 380 (grey), the 01/02's still have 440's (blue)
