No disrespect to **s, I'm just had no issue with Mao' work, and it's five minutes drive from my house to EVO R, plus **s asks $1200 for ecutek tuning.

I also can't understand why ecutek lock the ecu to prevent other tuner from remaping.
licensing agreements, open source tuning FTW
pick your tuner not your tuning tool

Really Dave, what options are there, new ECU or back to MMS for a re-tune.

Yes, as long as the ecu can be unlocked.

Do you know why **s only showed dyno result up to 5600rpm? That is confused me as well.

I think you will find that these tuners value the tune they put on the car as much as the time they spend doing it - its locked so it doesnt get copied by others.

- I know.. you own the car/ecu and yep its a raw deal.

I would take it to an EcuteK tuner - get it tuned and be happy. - Go see Mao for everything else if you like but hey thats the deal you got delt.

Or as stated above: buy a second hand stock ecu and go see who ever you like.
