Went to race torque and booked a retune, Lane explained the dyno to me, that ecutek steve did was a learning curve, it was one the first my08 sti they did, so the result was not that great.
Thanks for everyone replied here, I did learn a lot about ecu this time.

Unlocking the ECU is possible.
Seed/Key challange is where you're going to run into issues. Have either someone who knows about ECU's to put back the standard seed/key init sequence or back to an ECUtek dealer. |

Lane re tuned the car last week, 310WHP @19psi, very happy with the result.
I was thinking does ecutek has three maps for I S S# mode? The car feels very different in those three modes. Will the engine be damaged if I drive the car on I mode most of the time, because I travel 30000km+a year, I like less sensitive throttle for normal driving.
