Unhappy Boost Spikes - Should I be worried?

Advice would be very much appreciated.

Live in albany, and as many would know it can get pretty cold and wet compared to perth. Just tonight I was coming home and on full boost I spiked to 1.2bar for half a second. It has done it before during similar conditions but only to 1.1bar and only on a cold night or in the wet.

Is this a problem?
Why at roughly 17.4psi would I not hit boost cut? (If the gauge is acurate)
There are no boost controllers fitted to my car that i am aware of, car is pretty stock apart from 3" tbe, SSQV and Apexi Pod.
Normal boost is around .9 bar.

I wasn't really worrying before at 1.1 bar cause thats close to boost cut, but now it's gone to 1.2 bar which is past boost cut.

Cheers in advance
