If your strong enough you can push the piston inside the Bov, as the rest have said piss it off and run a stock one

Considered a DIY bov clean? Jump on turbosmart site I think they have instructions on how to clean bov. Did mine a few months back and internals were covered in silver sludge. Cleaned and re oiled and operating better than b4. 10 minute job

+1 for what Smootang posted.

Also worth double checking the small vacuum line that connects to your BOV, often these are connected to a T piece located near a small filter. These filters can get blocked, lack of vacuum on this line would cause loss of boost pressure however "due to the release of pressure pushing the BOV closed" its odd that you have boost pressure yet no BOV sound.

Can you hear a flutter noise instead of the normal BOV noise?

Yes i did GOOGLE bov problems and it sent me to pages relateing to..

No.. No flutter at all
