So there is reallly no benifit in me upgrading from the standard '02 Sti vf35 to a 34 then to increase the boost and air flows?

I thought that the STi '02 spec turbo's were smaller than that... oh well.

vf34 would give you abit more topend due to P18 housing but i wouldnt bother swapping a vf35 for a vf34 not worth it imo!

Get a p20 housing and turbine wheel for your vf35. Will only cost around $400 and then you'll be laughing.

EDIT: Ignore this info. LOL. I was young and naive

A P20 housing will not go onto a vf35 and they are usually a little cheaper than this now.

grab the vf35 front and rear housings and whack them on the vf34, you will drop lag, and if you port the housing, you'll make more top-end too.

larger housings only create lag and reduce torque.

Sweet FA!!! Differance.

Grab a PZ15 exhaust housing and throw that onto the VF43/30 and turn it into a VF35 otherwise you will have quite a bit of lag running these turbo's on the EJ205.

DEADBOLT Monster TD04

The turbo that made us famous! We take a standard, stock WRX TD04 turbo and then let our mad scientists go to work! It gets our world-famous Monster Port(TM) process, which impoves spoolup, midrange power, lowers peak torque RPM level, and improves acceleration. Our Monster Port(TM) process was developed over a period of 2 years and included over 30 different angles, grinds, and smoothing techniques to produce the best possible results on today's Monster TD04 turbos. Also available with ceramic coating, compressor housing outlet port, and compressor wheel upgrades.

MADDOG is the man to speak too about modified TD04's
