Default Steering wheel shuddering & whiny noise at start up

I have no idea where to put this so I'll set it up here

2 things.

1. Every morning or a cold start up. I get a whiny sound from the engine and gets noisier when u turn the steering wheel. It started as soon as the weather got cold. After it warms up or drive it for 15-20 mins it's fine. Answers?

2. I get a shuddering feeling when I turn the steering wheel. Mid full loc. it's getting slightly worse. Is something slipping or a fluid Issue? Or something else? Knowing this I've already change the steering wheel belt on my last service.

For both issues....

Power Steering hydraulics... Do a power steering fluid flush and go from there.

Or tighten the power steering belt. The belt just might be slipping

check power steering fluid level(ATF fluid) and as above check if the belt is tight enough. if the issue isnt solved id be looking at the pump and rack

Fluid level is fine. Both hot and cold. I've tightened the belt and no difference. Could be just the pump. I've left it Subaru they should narrow the problem for me

Have you resolved the issue? I'm experiencing identical problems in my 06 I'd be interested to see what the problem is

It's usually pump related, rarely is it in the rack. Usually it's air getting sucked in the suction side of the pump through hard O rings or hose.
