happened for the second time in 6 months. 01 bugeye. a very faint whisp of ?white smoke from the bonnet scoop after accidently revving the car prior to cutting the engine off.
could anyone explain this. has been for a service since the first time, not problems reported. Any ideas ? ![]() |

Puff of white smoke could be several things... Normally would be a leak of some sort..
Coolant onto Hot Manifolds or turbo housing would cause very white smoke banjo bolt or coolant hose might not get picked up on service as it is under the exhaust heat shield. Also could be an oil leak from rocker cover onto exhaust manifold which is more common on the earlier models but still worth a look. |

Ok will check it all out.
as i said, its only happened after i have revved the car just before shutting it off and only twice ever. it could have been more of a vapour cloud as well im not sure as it is so fine the colour. thanks for your help and any further ideas. |
