Thought so haha thats the motor that i was gonna put in mine about a month ago...... After speaking to fats on saturday i know no it would of been a gud buy seeing as he was raving on on about it being virtually brand new!!!!

Find the engine number on the block, then double check it.

There are a number of websites that explain how to decode the engine number.

looks like WRX RA ver2 or a sti ver 2,
has it got a fift injector on top of the manifold,
ver 3 had coil packs on top of the inlet manifold
far a i know the sti ver 3 and STI VER 3 RA had red manifild, but not the WRX RA.
USE to have a ver 2 RA MOTOR (BUT NOT STI) GOOD TOUGH MOTOR. (only sti had the forged pistons)
engine numbers will tell the truth...

Yeh I can't seem to find my engine number, found a transmission code and two six digit codes, one on a sticker and one stamped into the block but nothing with an "EJ20" in it.
