Ive got an 07 Impreza atm and looking get some parts an 04 wrx which has being parted out.

Would the wrx brakes fit on my car?
Is it easy to swap engines?

The guys selling brakes for $250 and engine with approx 90k kms for 1.3k.

Only turned 19, so insurance is too much :\
Impreza's only got 72k kms, saving up for an sti and get one once i turn 21 lol.

And as said above. Unless you have absolute personal emotion attacked to car (lost virginity in it) the conversion wouldn't be worth it.. Sell it buy complete wrx. Easier rego, insurance etc... Gc8 conversion is different scenario because of age and net value of a na impreza...

Just keep saving, you need more then an engine and some brakes to do the conversion.
You won't get any change from 5g if you do it yourself
And your Impreza is probably worth more original then with a bitza conversion

I dunno why, I only turned 20 back in March and picked up my gc8 soon after. My insurance isn't that bad. Still on p plates, no faults on my name and through aami I'm paying 1800. Got quoted RAC for 2300 though for a comparison.
