Oil burns in white smoke. Try it next time you change a spark plug in something, put a few drops of oil in. It will come out as white smoke.

Blue smoke doesnt really exist, unless there are extreme levels of different contaminants in the engine oil changing the composition of the oil.

More likely it would be a mixture of over rich and poorly burned mixture due to low compression if there was a dark coloured smoke, and it would more than likely be more black.

To the OP, either a issue with incorrect engine oil put in, or a head gasket issue.

^^^ Having been there done that I knew it was a plume of white smoke (having smoke screened Welshpool Rd many years ago) but no point arguing with the internetz authorities.

Civic burning oil - YouTube < blue smoke - burning oil
2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Engine Problems Blue smoke - YouTube < blue smoke - burning oil

Had a TX3 that looked identical to that after bottom end shat itself

It was/is a general guide - fluffy white smoke is usually water/vapour

everyone has already given you the worst case scenario.

THE CAR IS TOTALLY FINGERED

or, you could take it to a workshop and get them to tell you the good or bad news. Definitively

Go throw an extra 3L of oil in your work car, those video's were nothing.......It's a complete smoke screen that the cars behind you can not see through, I looked in my rv mirror and could only see white, luckily there were back streets and I was very close to home.

flux capacitor is defiantly rooted!
Mate, no point having keyboard mechanics guess your problem, best to take it to a workshop for a profesional check over.
