best spot to 'T' into for gauge is the line that goes from the manifold to the bov this is as per the factory subaru boost gauge install pdf

The gauge hits 17psi easy and reads into the vacuum...
That's how the car was set up when I bought it regarding the manual boost t. I don't know enough about the power fc to fiddle with settings, I only use it at present as a display of what's going on in the car.

Impossible for it to read vacuum at the compressor outlet seeing as there isn't any vacuum present at that point of the induction system.

What does it read at idle? 0? - it should be 10-15 Inches of mercury.

If your seeing 17 psi in that vac line your manifold is probably seeing 15psi or less due to intercooler pressure drop.

You must plumb in to the manifold after the Throttle body for it's reading to be anything meaningful.

Well on idle its sitting about 5 into the vacuum and as soon as I start moving it goes to zero until I give it a decent squirt. Although, this is easily fixed seeing as I have heaps of hose left over to join it to the manifold.
For my first job ever dicking around with gauges and zero help from anyone I'd say I did an alright job of it. At least the way I hooked it up hasn't damaged anything and is easily reversed.

Also like to hear your thoughts on what I should do with the manual boost t Rossco?

Throw it in the bin!

Your PFC has an inbuilt boost controller (and overboost protection) that is more than adequate for your needs & uses all the factory Subaru components already on the car.

I still run the PFC boost control & I'm exceeding 1.6 bar without issue.

I can even set it up for you if you're unsure of what to do.

That would be awesome as the PFC is running an 18psi tune and I've used the manual t piece to drop it to 14.7 which probably doesn't help the car so much but I had to go from a 3inch tbe to a 2 1/4 inch recently so wound it down for fear of stuffing something up with too much boost at the time. Still sorting a replacement exhaust though.

If you put the gauge tee piece in the right spot, take a picture and update your first post to make the DIY complete.
