Wrong Fuel

Have had a Blonde moment ..
Needed fuel tonite and was day dreaming at the bowser and have inadvertently put just over 20 Litres of U/L 91 into my tank..

Did'nt realise till i checked the fuel docket at home
Is better to drain the tank of the wrong fuel
And top up again with 98
Have only travelled 5km's with the wrong fuel in tank

If i leave the fuel in the tank wot are the ramafication's

Thanks in advance
Josh

If it aint pinging it aint singing.

If you want a real answer

Because you have a newer Subaru with a smart ecu and knock sensing capabilities, you wont break it as long as you dont belt the fuck through it.

The cars are designed with room to move in their tunes so to speak to account for shit like this.

AJAYJAY 09-07-2012 10:36 PM

let it go pop and build a 207

Dad did this in his old Hilux years ago when the just brought out LRP "Super". Filled with 120 liters of diesel instead of super and preceded to drive. Ran like an indian smoke signal for about 5 mins then died and would not start.

Drain and fill with proper fuel, good long crank with a spare battery and ran good as new!
