Cabling
Just wondering if i can use Stereo power cabling for earthing from my battery i want to run extra earth cables but find it would be a lot easier to cut and bend stereo cable rather then the power cabling you buy from auto stores?
Any help greatly appreciated |

Depending on the gauge of wire it should be fine. Only difference is the stuff for stereos just comes in flasher colours

Was looking at using 4 gauge not sure if the 8 gauge would be big enough. Please correct me if im wrong as 8 would be easier to work with.

8 gauge would be fine, I am running 2 amps, both with 8 gauge earth cables comfortably.

Hi Brett would the 8 gauge be enough for battery and starter earthing though

ah...I thought it was to power car amps.
You would want something heavier, as it is always best to be safe than sorry. $ gauge should cover it
