Auto transmission upshift problem

[FONT=Trebuchet MS]My Evo GTA (auto transmission) is having a problem upshifting from 3rd gear to 4th gear under hard acceleration. The RPM will reach redline then drop and goes up again a couple of times before shifting to the next gear.

Its fine during normal driving.[/FONT]

Their member base is quite small and not as interactive as pwrx and considering pwrx has quite few current and ex Evo owners it's a legit thread IMO.

Call Jamie at Tokyo Motorsport or maybe take it in! 9358 2829 (I think)

Will need someone to look at it, if fluid level is correct, it may be a valve body problem.
But, a workshop will be able to access the control module and get a better idea
Not hitting rev limiter?

Just before hitting the rev limiter when the car struggles to up shift. It only occurs during hard acceleration. Normal driving the tranmission has no hiccup.
