Oil catch can isnt working properly. Oil blow by and intercooler build up is normal on the ej20. It's normal, BUT, in a higher state of tune it is adviseable to have a correctly working oil catch can that 'captures' the oil vapour which then gets 'emptied' at every service.

mine is quite severe, like, i have a pool of oil in there, and when i remove the hose bit that connects the IC to the thottle body, its dripping oil.

i forgot to mention that my turbo is screwed, oil seal is gone or something, would that be the cause? turbo blowing oil thru the intercooler or something?

Thats definately the problem mate. Get your turbo overhauled or replaced and the prob will go away. A turbo will always let a very small amount of oil thru the seals.

shortmotor or longmotor? I had a massive oil leak and was fixed after my shortmotor was replaced.
