safe boost level?
 

hiya people

just wondering how much boost a stock turbo can take in a my01?

i just got a link installed and told it was running 1.1 bar. i took it for a fang and im hittin 1.4...

is 1.4bar ok?

mods include fmic, link, full exhaust, pod, b.o.v.

p.s. she is running unbelievably better with new ecu. faster, more responsive, smoother, sounds better, im stoked :)

if its tuned for 1.4 then it will be ok. if its not then eventaully KaBoom!

make sure you ask your tuner what boost he tuned it for.
And im not just talking about Kaboom in terms of your turbo, engine Kaboom aswell.

Perhaps the boost gauge is slightly inaccurate?
