UEL will gain more top end power but lose torque. Very gay.

EL will gain more top end without sapping the torque. Very win. Sound like a Honda though.

As per everyone else, go speak to your tuner and ask their opinion. They will know the current limiting factors. From what I remember, Sean used to get 300hp/450Nm out of the 06 STi's when they came out. So tell him not to be weak and dial in the car properly.

Don't know why 300HP is such a popular HP target these days...don't get caught up with the 'peak' figures from dyno readouts (speaking from experience myself). Your car has an awesome torque curve and response.

IMHO, allow it use that torque sooner out of corners with the Whiteline gear we were talking about. That and a good dose of seat time (when you can mate) and the car will be MUCH faster without any extra power or stress on the motor.

Take it down to Doug @ STechnic for install + alignment settings to discuss what you want out of it.

Have you ever done any timed events? If not what do you think you will gain by having an extra 20hp?

Spend that $500-$1000 on track time and you will be faster than people with 350-400hp that cant drive (much like yourself if you haven't done much track work).
