Yeah, they are in WA from what I've researched, but it is a bit of a grey area if under 25mm thick. There are some really good brands out there (Perrin) with centric hub rings (transfers the load better) and their own studs which mean you don't use extended studs.

Cheers for the suggestions. OZ's seem to be the peer pressure choice. Might even look into the Weds. I'll post pictures once I make a decision and get it done.

May I suggest looking at a spring/strut package if you just want to lose a bit of height and dial in some camber?
If you are going to track it and require the adjustments that a coilover can provide, then go for something decent, the KW V3 comes to mind.
Had a chat to John Fowler at Wheels World about them, $2900 installed and aligned, you could get them cheaper from the US most likely, install yourself and get an alignment afterwards.
I've spoken to John who recommended KW V1s for road driving and occasional trackwork which is probably what I want at this stage. (Giving more credit to Trolley and Steve's funny yet hurtful comments ) About an extra $600 to go to V3's. I'm still weighing that up as I may get more time to enjoy my car off the roads in the coming years. Any comments on that?

I've noted GTB's positive comments on the V3 amongst others in other threads.

Interesting.
When I spoke to John last week he quoted $1900/$2900 for the V1/V3 respectively, slightly more than the $600 you mentioned between the two

Sorry. I must've got confused as he quoted 2300 including the fit for the V1.

If Soksta is quoting prices on coilovers Flam, be patient and let him buy them (subtley convince him to go V3). Within a week his wife will tell him to remove them and you'll pick them up for a song.

Haha, not a chance of coilovers going on my car again.
Will be getting a set of the GTWorx kit installed instead

Was only asking John out of curiosity and for a mate of mine.

Sounds like there's an interesting back story. Would you recommend spending the extra money on the V3 then huggy?
