Default Apexi Power Intake - How to Clean?

Hi guys, just cleaning my MAF and noticed my filter is a bit mucky too, seems to be heaps of varied opinions about this on the web, so what is the best way to clean it ? airgun, vaccum, or i have the k&n recharger, should i just use the cleaning spray ? (and obviously not oil it)

general rule of thumb with subarus and their sensitive air flow meters is to use a dry element air filter. most K&n are oil, if its oil your going to have a bad time. buy a dry air filter. If your keen on keeping the one you have then blast it with air(inside to out).you can clean it with soap and water but then it needs to dry.once dry oil it if it needs to be oiled

ended up goin with the airgun and vaccum, i wasnt sure whether it was okay to clean it with the k&n filter cleaner, got pretty decent job done tho, but its still kept some dirt

Good blast with an air gun
If you got time or a spare
Give it a wash, dry it well, air blast it again, and she sold be good again
