Hey guys, was exploring all the buttons in my car yesterday and i found a mirror dimister switch. When i turn it on nothing happens, are the mirrors meant to heat up or something lol? and i was looking in my mates car also a impreza rx and he didnt have this accessory. Is it something optional you can choose when you buy the car? i cant really see the point of it. my mirrors have never ever fogged up haha.
anyone able to shed some info on this? not majorly important just interested.

the one next to the mirror adjustment knob. im pretty sure i read in the manual it was a mirror defogger or something, but i could be going mad..

oh and its a 1996 impreza rx

On top, or to the left?
If the left is what you are referring to, it looks like a rear fog light switch to me?
