link 44s ecu rpm signal
Hey got a link 44s ecu in my car wrx 2001 it seems to be not reading the rpm signal?
Does anyone know the issue as the cluster doesn't read any and my sti cluster also. Also I know the cluster isn't broken as both rpm don't move and sti cluster sweeps on intro... Cheers any help is good as I need it tuned any place I should check for loose cable? I even pluged in and out the cables and swap over to stock, but no luck as the stock ecu wouldn't fire up the car.. |
You need to talk to Leigh Hynes at Busselton Subaru Service...

anyone?? possible reset ecu and I put the stock back in, it doesn't start at all

Leigh is the WA link guy.

You really need to talk to Leigh Hynes, not many tuners in Perth will touch the link 44. If you were running the new g4 platform from link however most will tune it.

Thanks but Busselton is soo far and I am thinking is there a different option? As I got the wiring and pinout for the ecu and checked all over and cluster. So its most likely the ECU itself.
No loose wiring, also was tuned lst year in November so was working as ASG tuned the link 44s from Sean. I know the ecu is old now and Just curious is there a temporary solution? Like returning to stock ecu in? As I gave it a go but the engine wont turn over. Could this be the mobiliser setting as its the original ecu from that car? How would I have to get the stock Ecu running as I want the link44s out temporary. Or reset the Link 44s Fuel pump goes on though any help is great:) |
more likely a problem with the cam/crank pick up sensors not providing the ecu REF/SYNC
