Default Tyre pressure for AD08's on race/track day

I'll be having a crack at the state sprint series round on the 23rd of this month in my 10sti.
Car has KW-V3's running a pretty firm set up and Yoki AD08's. I have spoken to John at WWorld where I purchased the tyres and he has recommended running as low as 29-30psi all round while tyres are cold with the aim for them to heat up and expand to approximately 34psi for on track hot/pressure.
Was hoping for some feedback from those who might have run these tyres or similar and experimented with their pressures.

Did the same series this year and last...ran 34 hot on my AD08s. Also best time around Wanners was with 34 hot so i'd say that was a good recommendation.

I usually set them to 34 at a petrol station that morning and just monitor with a tyre pressure gauge after every run.

I was running around 34psi at the No limits day initially then dropped the pressure to around 30psi... took 2 seconds off my lap times.... seemed to be perfect.

When I used the ad08 for a few years I ran them 30 psi on the track and 34 street as others have said good tire when on budget race/street tire

Does anyone use direzza z1 star spec? The sticker on the car recommend 34psi front and 28 rear for hatch, should I stick with this or use 34psi all around? Thanks.

PS: The weight distribution on 3gen sti hatch is about 65/35.

Running 36psi hot in the AD08's for the sprint series, but that is in the 86, not the WRX.

Buy a decent tyre gauge. Went through 2 cheap ones, before getting a semi-decent one from Go Gear. Made life a lot easier :-)
