2011+WRX TBE+tune
Just looking for anyone who has a my11+wrx with TBE and tune. What kind of results have you seen and power over stock. Got my car booked in for the 12th with TBE and PSR turbo inlet pipe. Tuner has told me 200-210awkw. Pretty excited!
thanks guys |
I have an MY11 WRX, 3" turbo back exhaust and ecutek tune, 16 psi. got 170awkw out of it on the MMS dyno.

thanks guys
For WRX, PW tmic will give u more noticeable gain than inlet pipe, maybe also get AEM cold air intake and DW fuel pump? |

thanks guys
i honestly think that is abit inflated the top mount on the wrx is quite small unless yours is a sti, there are limiting factors such as the vf48 turbo also |
Pretty sure the turbo on WRX's is VF52... VF48 is on the STi?

I got 270hp/408nm atw which is about 200kw in my 2012 WRX.
TBE, PW TMIC, DW fuel pump, 3port boost solenoid. |
210kw... if dyno'd in third gear.
You could get anywhere from 170-200kw, depending on how your chosen tuner's dyno reads. The end number is meaningless really. What you want to know is what hp/kw gain you can expect from your chosen mods. Because we're all stupid over here, none of us do a "before" dyno run so that we can actually compare our gains from stock. I'm kicking myself for never doing so. |
FWIW mine (2012) made 220hp / 165kw at the hubs standard. The stock tune is pretty horrible.

well im not to worried about numbers every dyno is different, those were just the numbers told to me buy a very reputable tuner on the east coast which is where im from, inflated or not more worried about kw gained over stock 40-50kw would be nice, tuner also said no need for fuel pump good for 240, and yeah the turbo might be the issue but the tuner did say they can get there even 220 with the right mods, bigger top mount can come later if need be but im not chasing too much power. I am a mechanic but by know means an expert on these cars so ill listen to him let them do there magic and see how I go I will definitely post results tune is on the 12th august
