Default head gasket repair

hey fella's, posible head gasket gone on a 2.5 xt forester is that an engine in or out fix ? who,s reasonable nor for the job....cheers

Any of these known Perth workshops are competent for the work involved.

To answer your question, due to the boxer engine & the work involved to do it right. it's indeed an out fix as far as im aware.

expensive job, engine out, may aswell change timing belt/water pump etc whilst its in bits

To do them in car you need to remove the cam carrier. Pulling the motor out gives you easy access to the turbo,manifold and all other parts. Far easier to pull the motor out
