Bloody hell, 79 bucks for an air temp sensor????

Miggidy 14-06-2006 08:39 PM

This changes so much though and is different for all cars hey. It will turn into a thread full of crap and misinformation IMHO.

Hey whats the wideband option worth on a motec. And correct me if I'm wrong (which I'm sure you all will) why do you need an m800 with four cylinders? M400 maybe? only wideband?

Sounds like a bargin - go for it!! :laughing6

Don't know why tuning would cost you $1,600.00???

pmh 14-06-2006 09:49 PM

M800 is required for the AVCS. M400, 600 won't cut it

Link is not available for anything pass MY02.

ECUTEK is probably worth a look, especially now that there'll be more understanding on how OEM ECUs can be tweaked (not just ECUTek based tuners)
Bloody hell, 79 bucks for an air temp sensor????
It's not really needed they will run fine using the factory fitted sensor. I would not bother wasting money on a sensor, if you do need it later you still can add it on.

But ECUTEK doesnt have antilag which ruins it for Wai :D

And Wai, go the EcuTek now because i mean youll pay like 2K then even if you sell that later and buy MoTeC when it has fly by wire itll still be cheaper to to do that than buy it now
